Boston Mayor Martin Walsh urged locals to refrain from jumping into snowdrifts from windows. He made the corresponding statement after the townspeople started posting videos with their entertainment on the Internet, writes The Boston Herald.
“I ask you to stop these follies, in which adults are involved. It's stupid, you can kill yourself, ”Walsh said at a press conference. According to him, Boston is not a ski resort, but a city where emergency services try to clear the streets of snow as quickly as possible.
“The last thing we need is to leave for urgent calls because someone jumped out of the window for fun,” he added.
