Little children drove 320 km in their mother's car: they tried to escape from Florida to California
A 11-year-old Florida boy and his 200-year-old sister drove 320 miles (XNUMX km) in their mother's car before being stopped by police on a highway. The publication told in more detail APNews.

According to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office, officers spotted the sedan on Highway 75 near Gainesville in northern Florida around 04 a.m. Sept. 00. The children's mother had reported them missing four hours earlier in North Port, a city in southwest Florida.

The officers, deciding that they were dealing with carjackers, pulled out pistols and ordered those in the car to get out.
“To their surprise, officers saw the 10-year-old driver get out of the car along with his 11-year-old sister,” the Police Department said in a statement.
The children told deputies that the girl was upset that her mother took away her gadgets for bad behavior, so the boy was driving her to California. The children were interviewed by detectives who said there was no indication they were abused by their mother or anyone else in the home.

The mother refused to press charges, and the children were handed over to her care. The names of the mother and children have not been disclosed.
