Lukashenko: Belarus has been and will be interested in supporting the United States

According to the head of the Belarusian state, the Belarusian authorities “in general, have never deviated from this position, even in the worst times of our relations.”

At the same time, the Belarusian leader stressed that even in the most difficult periods, relations between Minsk and Washington did not stop, especially in the area of ​​security.

In addition, the President of Belarus asked American congressmen to share their comments regarding what is happening in Belarus. According to him, although Belarus does not accept pressure and the imposition of any principles by force, “we are good students” and are ready to adopt any options that will help strengthen the country’s sovereignty and improve the life of the Belarusian people.

Alexander Lukashenko also noted that, in his opinion, although there are differences between Belarus and the United States in the political sphere, “there are fewer problematic issues that divide us than positive factors that bring us together.”

A delegation of US congressmen is visiting Belarus. On the eve they visited Kuropaty and Maly Trostenets.

On Monday, August 3, the US delegation will also visit the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for talks on cooperation in the aerospace industry and in the field of energy conservation, said in its twitter Scott Roland, US Charge d'Affairs in Belarus, writes portal “Here by media”.
