How to get a free pass to all US National Parks
Good news for families who like to relax outdoors: The National Parks Office again offers free admission to fourth graders.
Starting from 1 September, any child who is in the 4 classroom can visit the website. Every Kid in a Park websiteto get a free pass for yourself and parents or other adults to more than 2000 national parks, forests, reserves and marine reserves.
The pass is valid from 1 September 2016 to 31 August 2017. It provides free admission for a child and three accompanying adults. To get a pass, the child must fill out an education box and print the pass.
Last year, the National Parks Authority already held such an event in honor of its 100 anniversary. Inspired by the success of the program, the service plans to continue it annually over the next 12 years, so that every American child of school age can visit the national park for free.
