Hillary Clinton decided to fight for the presidency of the United States
Hillary Clinton is expected to announce on Sunday in social networks and in the form of a video message his intention to fight for the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party, the party’s spokesman said on Friday.
After the announcement of the nomination of his candidacy, the ex-Secretary of State will travel to key states of Iowa and New Hampshire, a source close to Clinton added.
“It is assumed that she will announce her intention to run on Sunday,” he said.
The last time Clinton ran for presidency in 2008, she lost to the country's current leader, Barack Obama, partly because his campaign headquarters skillfully used social media to draw attention to Obama’s candidacy and collect huge sums through small donations from ordinary citizens.
Also, through social networks, Clinton expects to enlist the support of young people, which is necessary for her to become the first female president in America. In 2012, young political consultants turned the former first lady of the United States into an Internet sensation using the “Hillary SMS” blog.
Also on Friday, 67-year-old Clinton published an augmented edition of her memoirs titled "Complicated Solutions", where she described the last days as secretary of state and impressions of her granddaughter's birth. The new chapters are designed to make her image more intimate for ordinary Americans.
“Having become a grandmother, I deeply thought about our shared responsibility for this world, which we inherit from our ancestors and pass on to our descendants. But it didn’t make me slow down, but on the contrary, it spurred me, ”she wrote.
