The telecommunications company Tecnilógica from Madrid has mapped the 30 data to millions of Ashley Madison users on the world map, which is used to search for one-time dating and marital infidelities.

To do this, the developers used an array of data that hackers from Impact Team 19 August posted on the Internet. It contained the names, addresses, information about the field, place of residence and date of registration. They removed from the array all the data, except for the addresses (up to the settlement) and the floor, and also got rid of the sparsely populated cities. The result was downloaded in two layers to the CartoDB service.

Two layers are available on the map: Ashley Madison user distribution density and sex density. The first shows how many people from the site for adultery live in a particular city. The color indicates the density of users in a particular region. If you click on a zone on this layer, the map will show the city and the number of users from it.

The map shows that Ashley Madison services are popular in New York, San Francisco, London, Madrid and Paris. Distributed in Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, in the south of France, the coast of Spain and the west of Germany. And also enjoy great success in Switzerland and in the north of Italy.

The second layer of the map displays the percentage of male users: the red dots mark the settlements, where men with Ashley Madison are more than 85%, and yellow are cities where women with Ashley Madison are more than 15%. It turned out that in Europe, China, Korea, Japan and Mexico, the site was mainly used by men. But in India, South Africa, Brazil and the Philippines there was a significant percentage of female users. In the US, the distribution between the sexes is about the same. There is no data for Russia on the map.
