Florence came to New York: the subway was flooded. PHOTO, VIDEO
The heavy rains that New York had been warned about arrived in the city in the form of the remnants of a hurricane and then Tropical Storm Florence, which is moving along the coast, promising to emerge into the Atlantic tomorrow and dissipate over the ocean. In the meantime, the Big Apple is flooding, and the subway has already flooded.
Florence provoked real floods and even waterfalls inside some metro stations in midtown. Residents of the city shoot what is happening on smartphones and publish on the web, writes New York Post.

The rain began immediately after 1 an hour and quickly made a mess in Bryant Park, at Penn Station (here the water flows resembled a shower on a sauna day), strongly flooded 34 Street and 8 Avenue.

The videos show rivers of water pouring onto platforms and fleeing people. In social networks, city residents warn others about heavy flooding at stations.

Approximately in 40 minutes after the start of the rain, the subway lines returned to their normal working hours, despite the jets, fountains and entire walls of water flooding the stations from all sides.
