If you don't have time to hang out: the new service will create fake photos with your friends, as well as with Elon Musk or Mickey Mouse
The developers have created a new program based on artificial intelligence, which generates fake photos supposedly from parties of real people. If you give her access to the user's contacts and view photos, she will portray how much fun you have together, reports MC Today.
A new program called Hotshot was announced by one of the founders of this project, Aakash Sastri. It all started with him imagining what it would be like if a popular network like Midjourney knew what users' friends looked like. He posted generated images of a fake lunch with the Hotshot co-founder. In addition, the author of the post shared a video of how the program works.

According to the developers, Hotshot is free to use, and image generation takes a little time.

The model is still quite "young", but it learns quickly, and the quality of the pictures is gradually improving. Now, the fake party goers don't look too realistic, but it doesn't seem to spoil the "photos".

Recently, the developers have released another update of the program. The image generator has added the ability to create fake photos with famous characters and personalities, as well as simulate unrealistic situations.

Another interesting option is the ability to create memes with images of friends. So far, the function has been implemented for use in iMessage.

Interestingly, some residents of Twitter, in which the developers talked about their program, were not enthusiastic about it. Some have even called the images it generates creepy.
It seems that this technology is a little late - it would probably have been more relevant during the period of quarantine restrictions imposed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. However, if you have free time, why not try something new, right?
