Ex-Minister of Information of Russia could be killed by order of a Russian oligarch
Former Minister of Information of Russia Mikhail Lesin was killed in Washington in the fall of the year 2015, and did not die in an accident. This was stated by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, writes Radio Liberty with reference to sources of publication Buzzfeed.
Steele's report states that this information was provided to him by sources in the intelligence services, including in Russia. Steele claims that after a falling out with Lesin, a Russian “oligarch close to Putin” hired several people in Washington, allegedly members of the Russian intelligence services, to “teach a lesson” to the former minister and media manager by injuring him. Lesin, however, did not survive the attack and died - the injuries were too serious.
Steele's findings contradict the official findings of the investigation, which was conducted by the FBI, that Lesin, being drunk, sustained multiple injuries as a result of the accident. In this case, about any specific evidence of the version of Steele in the article Buzzfeed is not said - we are talking about the words of the sources. The name of the “oligarch” is also not mentioned.
Christopher Steele gained fame as an author the so-called “Trump dossier”, which states, in particular, that the Russian authorities have so-called compromising material on the US President and a possible conspiracy of his advisers with Russian representatives. American intelligence agencies claim that the information in the “dossier” has not been verified, and Trump himself categorically denies the considerations outlined in it.
