To the surprise of the author of the drop test, the glass of the screen and the glass back panel could only be broken if the novelty intentionally hit the asphalt with these two sides. In most cases, when the smartphone “accidentally” slipped out of the hand, the blow fell on a solid metal frame, which almost did not harm the device. In total, before the cracks appeared on the glass, the Galaxy S6 Edge withstood five drops on the asphalt from a height from 110 to 180 centimeters.

In the fight against moisture, the smartphone had to be more difficult. Placed in clear water, he stood for almost 24 minutes. The author of the test recalled that in this case it is worth considering the lack of moisture protection in the Galaxy S6 Edge, so even this result can be considered more than acceptable.

Despite the apparent futility of conducting such tests, the owner of YouTube-channel TechSmartt tries to create relatively realistic conditions. Keaton notes that everything he does can happen in life. Cooking the iPhone 6 in a stake was considered to be the most pointless test of the technology published on the video hosting site earlier.
