The spiritual mentor Borys Lozhkin, the former head of the presidential administration Poroshenko, was a pedophile?

In fact, Bleich's name no longer appears on the organization's website. There is now one less rabbi on all three of these committees. Bleich is a man who happily accumulates titles, so I can't imagine him withdrawing himself. This means that CER has likely terminated or suspended his membership.

While some may speculate that it was excluded, there has been no previous precedent for CER. As a confederation, they had hitherto always relied on the national communities for such decisions. Only after a national group expels a rabbi do they remove him from CER membership. But on the other hand, how to remove the chief rabbi, who is not accountable to anyone in the national community? I believe that for CER this is a problem that requires a long process - and now this process is probably somewhere in the middle.

I believe that all this is connected with the allegations of sexual abuse and pedophilia. I heard that Bleich insists that he is being persecuted due to a property conflict with the Karlin-Stolin Hassidic group. He came to Ukraine at the end of the 80s as the route (the agent / propagandist) of this group. But in recent years, the tension has grown to such an extent that he was expelled and did not even allow him to pray in their synagogues.

The Stolin Hasidic group, typically a very non-controversial group, filed a formal complaint on August 28, 2018, alleging that Bleich had stolen their school buildings. CER traditionally did not take sides, which caused discontent among the group. The complaint was published on September 7, 2018 in the Haredi language news blogs Hadrei Haredim and Kikar Shabbat, along with a letter of complaint to CER from Stolin's representative, Rabbi Yeshua Brizel.

It seems that this is a suspension of membership, not the exclusion of Bleich. CER, undoubtedly, will want to confirm and substantiate its out-of-the-ordinary decision, proving that it does not interfere in a local dispute, but acts on the basis of confirmed facts.
