Nazarbayev will be re-elected in Kazakhstan
The political leaders of Kazakhstan supported the initiative of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (ANC) to hold early presidential elections.
The ANC is an advisory body under the president of the country and is headed by President Nursultan Nazarbayev himself.
The ANC explained the initiative by saying that Nazarbayev needs to be given a new mandate of national trust in the conditions of “global trials.”
As the Deputy Chairman of the ANK, Anatoly Bashmakov, explained, the council received “thousands and thousands of letters” with arguments.
Previous presidential elections were also held in Kazakhstan ahead of schedule. They held 3 on April 2011 of the year. Nazarbayev then got 95,55% of the vote. This leader heads the country with 1990 of the year.
