Doctors with a green card, who was detained after 40 years of life in the United States, were released on bail

The doctor, a native of Poland, Lukasz Nitsa, who has been living in the USA for about 40 years and was arrested by the American Immigration and Customs Service (ICE), was released on bail of $ 10 thousands. He writes about it Mlive.

Judge Mark Jabson released an 43-year-old physician on bail and on the condition that he will not drink alcohol and will comply with other rules established by the US Department of Homeland Security.

“We are so happy, so happy that Lukasz will return to us tomorrow. I am grateful for everyone’s help and support,” said Dr. Ivonne’s sister Nic Villar.

The judge also decided not to oblige Lukash to wear a bracelet on his foot, as he is not dangerous. But he warned that if a man does not appear at the next hearing in the immigration court, he will be deported.

Note, Lukas arrived in the USA at 5 aged with parents and sister. He has worked for more than 10 for years in health care in Bronson.

In 17 years he was convicted on charges of theft of property worth less than 100 dollars, as well as hiding stolen goods.

Having confessed to what he did, Lukas fell under the action of the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act, which helps young people who have committed a crime for the first time to remove criminal records, but ICE does not comply with the state plea agreement.

In 1999, Lukash was charged with drunk driving, and in 2008, he received another charge of violating the rules of road driving.

The doctor was also accused of child abuse. Allegedly in July 2017, he applied violence to his daughter. Judging by the photo, the girl had a bruise or bite mark on her shoulder. But Lukas wife, Rachel Burkart-Nits, testified that she had never seen such a noticeable mark on the body of a child.

Recall that the arrest occurred at the time of the debate on immigration, especially in the framework of the program “Delayed Actions for Children” (DACA), which is considered at the national level.
