“The idea is to create a great starter kit for families who want to prepare for disaster. This is of great importance,” said a company representative Costco.

The company did not report how many people have already purchased spare food kits. But one customer who bought the largest set “just in case” left a review, saying that he was satisfied.
Retail sales specialist Ken Dalto said that the demand for spare food kits may increase, because people are still in a state of fear after the last hurricanes, and are not sure about the future.
