What happens with unspent soap and shampoo in hotels
Most guests do not spend until the end of the bars of soap and shampoos in hotels, but throwing them in the trash would be extremely harmful to the environment.

As soon as the old soap arrives at one of the warehouses Clean the World (they are located in India, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Orlando and Montreal) it is melted and turned into new bars. They are packaged and sent to charities around the world, including the Red Cross.
2016 year Clean the World manufactured more than 7 million soap bars and 400 000 hygiene kits. Of these, 500 000 bars were sent as assistance to those affected by Hurricane Matthew in Haiti and the Bahamas.
The company also deals with the processing of underused shampoos, shower gels and conditioners. These items are thoroughly checked and subjected to additional processing, after which they are included in hygiene kits, which also include toothbrushes, toothpaste and hand sanitizer. They are distributed to homeless people around the world.
