Costco members can get online doctor consultations for just $29
Retailer Costco is offering a new service in partnership with Sesame, a health care marketplace. You can access online doctor visits for $29 per appointment with a Costco membership, says CNN.

Sesame said in a press release that starting Sept. 26, Costco members will be able to book doctor appointments directly through their membership in all 50 states.
The New York-based company said its platform does not accept health insurance because it primarily serves uninsured Americans and those with high-deductible plans who prefer to pay cash for their health care. The company said its model helps keep service prices low for users.

Services listed on Costco Pharmacy home page, includes virtual primary care visits for $29, physical exams (standard lab panel and virtual follow-up with a provider) for just $72, and online mental health visits for $79.
“Quality, great value and low price is what the Costco brand is known for,” said David Goldhill, co-founder and CEO of Sesame. “When it comes to healthcare, Sesame also provides the high quality as well as low prices that Costco members will appreciate when it comes to their own health.”

Costco is among several retailers providing healthcare directly to consumers as demand for access to emergency care outside of traditional hospitals soars.
