President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago mansion in South Florida has raised membership prices following the inauguration of the 45th US president. Now, to join the club, you need to pay $200 thousand - 2 times more than in mid-2016.
On the Online the club posted a photo of Trump, promising its members access to the “royal lifestyle”, reports CNN.
The president himself calls this mansion the “Winter White House”.

According to club manager Bernd Lembke, they had been planning to raise the entry fee for a long time, and that “the president had nothing to do with this decision.” He added that in 2007 the entrance fee was $200 thousand, but due to the difficult economic situation in the country in the same year it was decided to reduce it by half. When the economic situation improved, it was decided to gradually return the original cost, raising it to $2 thousand in September 150 and to $2016 thousand in January 200.
