The novel is entitled President is missing (“The President is Missing”), and they are already making a TV series based on it, writes Air force.

“I love thrillers,” the former US President said in an interview Bi-bi-si. — I read them in huge quantities. I just finished the third book in [Jason Matthews’] Red Sparrow trilogy.”

He also said that he was a fan of Patterson and swallowed in one gulp all his 25 books about detective psychologist Alex Crosse.

“I didn’t really get into crime and suspense novels until the early 1980s, and then I became completely immersed in them,” said Clinton, who was elected president in 1992 and served two terms in office.

Since then, he said, he has cherished the dream of writing his own book. “I’ve always wanted this,” he said.

What is this book about?

The plot revolves around a cyber attack on the United States that threatens the entire world. It must be prevented by the main character, the fictional President Jonathan Lincoln Duncan. As events progress and time is running out, the main character disappears.

According to Clinton, the book details the details of life in the White House. From a bowling alley in a basement to a treadmill in the president's bedroom, "we really tried to describe it as accurately as possible," Clinton says.

The job of a president is perhaps the hardest in the world, admits one of the few people living on the planet who knows this first-hand.

“I want readers to see that these are real people doing real work. They make decisions. And their decisions affect your lives," Clinton said. Bi-bi-si.

House of cards

The novel “The President is Missing” will also appear as a series, a major cable network showtime has acquired the rights to the film version and has already started shooting the episodes. The series will be released next year.

“I watched the first few seasons of House of Cards. The first one was good, very good,” he says.

“I watched Scandal for a long time. Many of those who worked on it are my friends and associates. But when I watched both shows, I thought, oh my God, a lot of people are going to think it's okay for people in the White House to kill other people. Perhaps even the president killed someone. And then they won't embrace the fact that there are people who get up every day and do what they think is right," Clinton says.

Bill Clinton has already released four books, one of them, “My Life,” has become a bestseller.

The President is Missing is his first fiction book.
