A stowaway boarded a flight using a photo of another person's boarding pass.

Wickliffe Texan Yves Fleurizard, 26, was arrested March 17 after he boarded a Delta Air Lines flight to Salt Lake City without a ticket. The guy used a photo of another passenger's boarding pass, reports CNN.

Surveillance cameras captured Fleurizard photographing the phones and boarding passes of several passengers while they were not looking before boarding a flight at Salt Lake City International Airport. He then uses his own phone to board a flight to Austin, Texas.

Fleurizard went to the toilet at the front of the plane and spent some time there while other passengers boarded.

“After boarding was completed and shortly before the aircraft doors were locked, Fleurizard exited the restroom, made his way to the rear of the aircraft, and entered the aft restroom,” the complaint states.

As he emerged from the restroom, the flight attendant noticed there were no empty seats and approached Fleurizard to help him. The plane had already left the gate and began taxiing along the runway.
Fleurizard told the flight attendant that his seat was 21F, but another passenger was sitting there.

Once the flight attendants learned Fleurizard's real name and determined that he did not have a ticket or reservation, the flight returned to the gate. There he was met by law enforcement officers.

The suspect told police he was in Park City, Utah, snowboarding. He needed to get home to see his family. He said he had a reservation on March 17 on Southwest Airlines, but it was rescheduled.
“Fleurizard admitted that he made a mistake and was only trying to get home,” the complaint said.

He is being held at the Salt Lake County Metro Jail as a federal detainee. Delta Air Lines spokesman Morgan Durrant said the airline is cooperating with the investigation.
