7 new cruise liners to launch in 2019
North America's three largest cruise lines - Carnival, Norwegian and Princess - will introduce new ships in 2019.
But although the ships will be new, they will look amazingly familiar, since all three will be improved copies of already existing ships, writes USA Today.
In addition, the two new ships in 2019 will be presented by the European company MSC Cruises.
Beginners will not be exact copies of old ships, since most of them will be equipped with new features and entertainment. For example, cabins for families of five will appear on the new Princess vessel for the first time.
Only a small European company Costa Cruises will present a completely new ship. Costa Smeralda weighing 183 900 tons will be the fifth largest cruise liner in the world when launched at the end of 2019.
Royal Caribbean will also introduce the new ship in the 2019 year, but it will not be targeted at American tourists. Spectrum of the Seas has been specifically designed for the Chinese cruise market.
