Tropical storm Hermine can get to New York and neighboring states
Tropical storm Hermin, which led to the formation of the first hurricane in Florida in 11, can reach New York and other states on the east coast of the United States.
According to TimeOut New York, the weather can make changes to the plans of residents and guests of the city for the weekend dedicated to the Labor Day in the United States.
On Saturday, strong wind is expected, gusts of wind as the approach of Hermin to the territory of three states (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) reach 65 km per hour.
The authorities in New York have decided to close all city beaches on Sunday because of the dangerous situation.
"Everything is very simple. If you go into the water, you are putting your life at risk,” said New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.
On Tuesday, a hurricane of the first category, Hermin, struck Florida, but later it weakened to the level of a tropical storm.
As the cyclone moves along the coast, rain is expected throughout the area covered by it, in New York approximately on Sunday afternoon, and showers are possible on Monday.
