3-year-old boy from Florida dies trapped in a washing machine
A three-year-old boy from Orlando, Florida died on Sunday, 4 on August, when he was locked in a front-loading washing machine. Writes about it Daily Mail.
Police said the incident was a tragic accident that occurred while a boy was playing in the laundry room with his brother or sister.
The child was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead.
Data from the reports of the company that tests Consumer Reports products shows that more than 2000 children are injured or killed each year in incidents involving washing machines or dryers.
"This is certainly a tragic event," said Jim Nanni, product testing engineer for Consumer Reports.

After the boy was found in the washing machine, rescuers were called to the scene, medical workers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Then the child was taken to the Arnold Palmer Children's Medical Center, where he later died.

Since the incident is still under investigation, access to the scene is limited.
