10-year-old girl from South Carolina died after a fight with a classmate
The fifth-grader from South Carolina died on the morning of March 27 after a fight with a classmate.
Rania Wright, a student of Forest Hills elementary school, died on 9: 39 on March 27 at South Carolina Medical University, two days after getting injured in a fight with another fifth-grade student, writes People.
A statement by Colleton County education officials said that the school "stopped the fight and called an ambulance."
According to the police, the weapon was not involved in the incident.
“This was a physical confrontation that occurred between two fifth-grade students at Forest Hills Elementary School,” said Colleton County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Shalane Laws.
Lawes said that the investigation was ongoing, no arrests or charges were made.
At the same time, the school stated that the second student who participated in the brawl was suspended from class until the investigation was completed.

Her heartbroken mother Ashley Wright was constantly sharing information about her daughter’s status on Facebook.

School officials described the girl as an "excellent student."
“She enjoyed writing, spending time with her friends, playing basketball and loved being a big sister,” the school said.
On the portal GoFundMe A page was opened to raise funds for medical and funeral expenses to help the Rania family. At the time of writing, more than 41 thousands of dollars were collected there.
