Zhirinovsky: if the Americans vote for Clinton, they are waiting for a nuclear war

The head of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, advised the Americans to vote for the Republican Party nominee Donald Trump in the US presidential election, or they would face the threat of nuclear war from Russia.

This statement he voiced in an interview with the agency Reuters.

“Relations between Russia and the United States cannot be worse than today. It will be worse only if war begins. Trump does not care about Syria, Libya and Iraq. And why should America in general go into these countries? And Ukraine? Who needs Ukraine? Americans who will elect the president of November 8 must understand that they are voting for peace on planet Earth if they vote for Trump. But if they vote for Hillary, it will be a war. It will be a short movie. Hiroshima and Nagasaki will be everywhere, ”said Zhirinovsky.

He also said that Trump’s election would be a “gift to humanity.”

“Clinton is hungry for power. She considers herself the most important person on the planet, and also believes in American exceptionalism, which Barack Obama also spoke about. Trump's victory will be a gift to humanity. However, if Hillary Clinton wins, she will be the last US president,” said the Russian politician.

Zhirinovsky stressed that Americans should vote for Donald Trump, because “giving your vote to Hillary Clinton is tantamount to agreeing to a nuclear war.” The politician believes that Clinton, having become US President, will drag the country into a third world war, during which nuclear weapons will be used. But Trump, in his opinion, is the only person who is able to “ensure de-escalation of the conflict between Washington and Moscow.”
