Las Vegas Survivor Woman Loses Home Due to California Fires

California air hostess Michella Flores 1 October witnessed a mass shooting at the festival Route 91which killed 58 people and injured more than 500.

A few days after returning home to Santa Rosa, California, she and her parents were forced in a hurry to leave their home to escape from forest fires, writes CNN.

The woman said that the fire destroyed the house of their family and all the things in it.

“I feel completely helpless,” the woman admitted.

Flores flew to Las Vegas in the morning of October 1 and waited for her next flight to Boston on October 2 in the evening. She stayed in a hotel Hooterswhich is a few blocks from Mandalay Bay, from which Stephen Paddock shot the participants of the festival.

Flores said she was a fan of country music, so she decided to go to the festival Route 91, to listen to Jason Aldin’s performance, but she didn’t have a ticket, so she listened to music outside the festival area.

When she heard the first shots, at first she did not understand what it was.

Then she saw people running around screaming about the arrow.

She managed to hide in a conference room in a nearby building where she sat for several hours. After that, Flores returned to her room and tried to fall asleep, but nothing came out of her, because she could see the bodies of the dead from the window of her room.

After returning home to Santa Rosa, she began work, part of which is refueling corporate and private jets, including those used by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, so the woman knew about the fires raging in California.

On the way from work, she stopped at her parents' home, where she lived before moving to a new home. When the fire approached the house at a life-threatening distance, they and their parents decided to evacuate. Parents went to the shelter, and Flores stayed in the house to help the firefighters, because she previously worked in the fire service. Therefore, the woman saw how the house of her parents burned down; they could not save him.

Flores admitted that after the incident, she still can not sleep properly, because too many bad events happened in a short period of time.
