The driver under the influence of drugs drove 4800 km without rest

Massachusetts police arrested the driver, who drove more than 4800 km without rest from Washington, where, according to police, he took a mixture of methamphetamine, LSD and cocaine.

Born in Alaska, Gary Robins was charged with driving under the influence of narcotic drugs, as well as a whole list of traffic offenses that he committed, reports Daily Mail.

The driver was arrested after witnesses reported a man acting strangely in the parking lot - walking around her and acting aggressively. Then he threw his bank cards into the fuel tank and tried to climb into the cab through the space between the cab and the trailer.

Robbins arrived at the parking lot for refueling after he finished delivering raspberry bushes to a customer whose office is located near the parking lot.

When the police arrived and tried to talk to the driver, he behaved aggressively and showed clear signs of intoxication.

The officer realized that this man could be dangerous for himself and those around him. After his arrest, it turned out that Robins had not rested at all, he used drugs on the way and rode without interruption. The final destination was Deerfield, Massachusetts.

Robbins confessed to using drugs, but refused to be hospitalized, however, the police took him to the hospital. A driver's license was taken from Robbins and a truck was confiscated.

The further fate of the driver will be decided by the court.
