In Florida, a driver kidnapped a two-year-old child, throwing his mother out of the car

The Florida State Police has announced the Amber Alert due to the kidnapping of two-year-old Jordan Bellevo. The boy and mother were taken by a stranger who beat a woman and threw her out of the car, and took the child to an unknown destination.

Amber Alert - America's Missing: Broadcasting Emergency Response is a child abduction alert system used in the United States and other countries around the world. Once an alarm is declared, information is disseminated through radio stations, television stations and cable systems, email, text messages, billboards and even electronic traffic signs.

As the FOX 13, Jordan and his mom walked along East Bay Drive in Largo, Fla., Around 9: 30 on Saturday evening, when the unexpected happened.

A man in a white Toyota Camry offered to give the woman and child a ride, the boy's mother said. She didn’t know him and didn’t suspect anything at that moment. The man identified himself as “Antwan.” At some point during the trip, an argument broke out, Maj. Stephen Slaughter said.

“The mother was hit in the face several times and lost consciousness,” he explained. “The woman did not come to her senses until 1:30 am.”

Jordan is described by a woman as a black boy 2 feet 6 inches (76 centimeters) tall, 30 pounds (less than 14 kg) in weight, he has short brown hair and brown eyes. The last time his mother saw him in a blue shirt with the inscription "72" in front, in blue sports shorts with a black and white stripe. The boy has special signs: a partially healed cut in the lower part of the chin and a birthmark on the right side of the abdomen.

Detectives believe he may be in the company of a black man, approximately 25 years old, who calls himself "Antwan." Both may be traveling in a white 2010 Toyota Camry with a white grille and dark tinted windows. A black herringbone air freshener and rosary beads were hanging from the car's rearview mirror, police said. Authorities' only description is that the man likely has dreadlocks and several gold teeth.
