In Florida, the driver stopped at a traffic light to skip a pedestrian, and then deliberately knocked him down
In Florida, the authorities are looking for a driver who, they claim, deliberately knocked a man down before allowing him to pass by the car, writes Fox News.
The incident occurred on February 23 in Oakland Park, Florida in the parking lot of a Publix supermarket. The video camera recorded how the car “stopped to let a passerby pass. When the victim was almost finished crossing the road, the driver stepped on the gas and turned in the direction of the victim,” police said in a press release.
Then the video shows a person lying on the ground. The driver fled the scene.
As a result of the incident, the injured person’s leg was broken.
“This driver’s actions were bizarre, violent and reckless,” the sheriff’s office said.
The driver also got to record video cameras. Shortly before the incident, he entered the supermarket.
“The driver is a fat man with light skin. He has short brown hair and a close-cropped beard. He was wearing a red cap and T-shirt, khaki shorts and black sneakers, police said.
