Top 10 Most Crime Cities in the USA
Experts have compiled a ranking of the most dangerous and crime-ridden US cities based on data from the 50 most populous places in America, reports Money Talks.

Zebra Insurance Site used FBI data on property crime rates, as well as robbery rates and arson volumes for the year to create a list of the most dangerous cities in America for these types of crimes. You can see the ranking of US cities by level of life satisfaction here.
Property crimes are among the most common crimes in the United States.
Here is a ranking of the 10 most criminal cities in the United States (two metropolises shared 10th place).
10. Cleveland Ohio
- Property crimes: 1851,4 per 100 people.
- Robbery: 120,5 per 100 people.
- Arson: 1091.

10. Austin TX
- Property crimes: 2410,2 per 100 people.
- Robbery: 56,9 per 100 people.
- Arson: 2921.
Violent and property crimes have decreased in Austin since 2020, according to Neighborhood Scout. The metropolis is safer than about 5% of U.S. cities, according to Neighborhood Scout. It has a rating of 5 out of 100.
9. Columbus Ohio
- Property crimes: 2390,3 per 100 people.
- Robbery: 99,9 per 100 people.

AreaVibes, a real estate data group, gave Sacramento an "F" rating for crime. The overall crime rate, property crime rate, and violent crime rate are significantly higher than the national average.

- Arson: 2921.
San Antonio Police Department data for 2023 shows that while violent crime was down from the previous year, there was an uptick in property crimes. This number accounts for stolen cars.
4. Riverside, California
- Property crimes: 2275,1 per 100 people.
- Robbery: 113,4 per 100 people.
- Arson: 3362.
The City of Riverside has a crime dashboard that provides a crime density map and detailed crime data over specific time periods. This allows users to see when (day of the week, time) socially dangerous acts occur most often.
3. Los Angeles, CA
- Property crimes: 2140,7 per 100 people.
- Robbery: 157,3 per 100 people.
- Arson: 3362.

2. Memphis, Tennessee
