In Florida, two teenagers rescued babies from a burning trailer
Law enforcement officials said two boys rescued two young children from a burning camper in central Florida.
On Tuesday, in Orange County, 10-year-old Isaiah Francis and 11-year-old Jeremiah Grimes rushed to their neighbor's house when the fire broke out. They carried babies out of the fire at the age of one year and eight months. The incident occurred around noon.
Isaiah and Jeremiah say that the smoke in the house was so thick that they could see nothing but him. Fire officials reported that two more children aged 2 and 5 years old who live in this house were injured. One of them was taken to hospital with the help of a medical helicopter. Both are in critical, but stable condition at Arnold Palmer’s hospital.
The Orange County Fire Department says that when a fire broke out in the house, there were four children and one adult. The cause of the fire is unknown.
