The whole 2017 year can fly from the USA to Europe for $ 69
Norwegian Air has introduced new fares by the end of 2017 for flights from the USA to Europe and back.
By the end of 2017, travelers will be able to fly between New York and Edinburgh for $ 69 one way. The route will involve 6 new Boeing 737MAX aircraft, which the airline will receive in April.
“Our planes are very, very economical,” said Bjorn Kos, General Manager of Norwegian Air. “The Boeing 737MAX has a very modern engine that can cover more distance.”
According to Kos, to complete the new route, additional airports in New York will be involved, which cost several times cheaper than the airline, and this will affect the tariffs. At the same time, the general director of Norwegian Air did not specify which airports she had in mind.
Time, in turn, has information that Norwegian Air plans to expand the number of flights to 21 per week. They will fly from Stuart International Airport (95 km from New York) to Scotland, Ireland, Norway and England.
