The notorious Michael Moore, the Oscar winner of the film Bowling for Columbine and the author of numerous exposing documentaries, unexpectedly all secretly shot a film about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Yesterday, a large-scale free-of-charge showing of the TrumpLand picture at the IFC Center (New York) took place.

The film was not advertised, and the show became known hours before it began. Despite this, the premiere was held with full notice.

“We shot the movie 2 weeks ago, in 2 days of shooting,” Moore explained. “The installation and post were done very quickly.”

The film is a monologue of the director in front of a large audience in a hostile audience. During his speech, Michael Moore talks about how the future of the United States and the world will look like if Donald Trump becomes president and how different it will be if Hillary Clinton is elected to this position.

The small town of Wilmington, Ohio, was chosen for filming, a county in which Trump received 4 times more votes than Clinton.

“I deliberately chose this part of America. To me, these people are the people of Trumpland."

Despite the unexpected release, dozens of cinemas have already expressed their willingness to “push” other premieres and reconsider their schedule so that the film will get the widest possible release before the voting day of November 8. In an unprecedented action of unanimity, the cinema release will take place simultaneously with the release on the VOD platform.

Michael Moore, who has never been a fan of Hillary Clinton and has always been critical of her politics, said that the film’s summary was:

“A month after Trump’s inauguration, the fighters will conduct a bombardment cycle on the border with Mexico, there will be one official news channel in the US, many of your favorite actors and musicians will be deported. I vote for the enemy of my enemy. ”

Michael Moore admitted that he made the film without the support or even the knowledge of the Clinton campaign, and said that after the Brexit vote he was not ready to “flush America down the toilet.” In the coming weeks, Michael will continue to organize shows and performances, especially in the so-called “Brexit-risk states” - Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
