3-year-old boy disappeared in North Carolina: the third day of his search

The 3 year old boy from North Carolina disappeared from the 22 home in January, with hundreds of volunteers and several law enforcement agencies involved.

All of them are making great efforts to find a child in an area where the air temperature at the moment has dropped below zero degrees Celsius, writes Fox News.

Casey Lynn Hathaway was last seen when he played in the back yard of his grandmother’s house in Ernul. The boy’s grandmother said she searched for him for about 45 minutes before calling the police.

County Sheriff Craven Chip Hughes said Wednesday that law enforcement officials view the boy’s case as “missing child search,” but do not rule out the possibility of abduction.

The FBI, the state police and the marines, as well as family friends and relatives are taking part in the search for the baby. Children are searched around the clock, divers search nearby ponds.

Hathaway is described as 2 feet 4 inches (71 cm) tall, weighs 25 pounds (11 kg) and has blond hair and brown eyes. Hughes said the boy was not dressed properly for the cold temperatures at the time of his disappearance.
