In New Jersey, a woman on the beach pierced with an umbrella
In the USA, a beach umbrella flew into a tourist from the UK and pierced her ankle.
Margaret Reynolds was relaxing on one of the beaches in New Jersey when a beach umbrella unexpectedly flew at her and pierced her leg, writes “Lenta.ru report«.
According to local sheriff Tommy Boyd, firefighters had to cut the base of the umbrella with a bolt cutter to place the 67-year-old victim in the ambulance. The umbrella did not belong to a British woman and flew in from the other end of the beach.
The incident described in his Instagram user Ricky Z:
“This woman’s leg was pierced with an umbrella just a meter and a half from me. Due to the strong wind, two umbrellas began to fly along the beach. One flew the devil knows where, the other - IN HER LEG. It could have been me! ”
The Independent edition contacted the hospital. Doctors confirmed that Reynolds was hospitalized, but so far they cannot say anything about her condition.
