In Moscow, introduced a seasonal markup for the funeral

The state enterprise “Ritual”, which is a monopolist at the funeral market in Moscow, has raised prices for its services and introduced seasonal markups.

Kommersant managed to get acquainted with the letter in which Ritual notifies specialized services about tariff changes from June 1.

At new rates, in the summer season (from 1 May to 31 of October), digging a grave will cost 9,07 thousands of rubles (170 $), in winter (1 November - 30 April) - 10,88 thousand rubles (204 $). Prior to this, all year round the price was at the level of 9,07 thousand rubles (170 $). Seasonal surcharges have been introduced for a number of other services provided by the “Ritual”.

In addition, the company has raised prices for services not subject to seasonal factors. Rising prices for some services, writes "Kommersant", amounted to 17 percent.

In the Department of Trade and Services of the Government of Moscow, they stressed that this is a planned revision of tariffs. With the debt of "Ritual", which is about 500 million rubles, the increase in prices for services is not connected, representatives of the department stressed.
