In Moldova, hundreds of people die because of trifles

Hundreds of people in Moldova die every year due to negligence. According to the Ministry of Health, last year the number of people killed in accidents at home on 60 exceeded 2013.

A month ago, a woman was hospitalized with a broken leg - she received the injury in her own apartment.

“I was at home and just fell. - How did it happen? - I can not explain. Destiny,” she says.

Doctors say that injuries most often occur in the spring - when people work a lot in the field and at home.

“Most often, cuts occur at home - with knives and other sharp objects. Burns and chemical poisoning. Sprains, head injuries and even femur fractures occur,” says doctor Sergiu Ciobanu.

Psychologists believe that people are inattentive due to stress, which does not allow them to objectively evaluate their physical abilities.

“Nowadays people live little. They are busy with something, but their thoughts are far away. They live at an accelerated pace, are always preoccupied with something, which leads to ridiculous incidents,” says psychologist Irina Novak.

The highest death rate from domestic injuries is registered in Chisinau, Hincesti, Causeni. Across the country, 1348 people died in accidents last year.
