Protesters Moldova issued an ultimatum to the authorities - they demanded the convening of emergency meetings of the government and the parliament in order to dismiss the heads of a number of state structures. According to Sputnik, this was announced at a press conference by the chairman of the Council of the Grand National Assembly, Andrei Năstase.

“We appeal to the head of the National Bank Dorin Dragutan, Prosecutor General Corneliu Gurin, the head of the National Anti-Corruption Center Viorel Ketrar, the chairman of the CEC Yuri Ciocan, the head of the CCA (Coordination Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting - approx. "Tapes.ru") Din Ciocan, chairman of the Supreme Court of Justice, Mihai Poalelunj, and demanding that each of them resign, ”he noted.

Since, according to the protesters, the authorities refused to fulfill their demands, the citizens of the country have no choice but to continue and expand the protests.

September 8 Timofti refused to resign at the request of the protesters. He called the slogans of the demonstrators "unfounded", "strange" and inconsistent with the interests of the state and citizens.

The protest rally in the center of Chisinau, organized by the movement “Dignity and Justice”, began on September 6. Rally participants gathered, according to various sources, from 20 to 100 thousand people demanded the resignation of the President of the country and the holding of early parliamentary elections. The same evening, the demonstrators broke up tent camp near the government building, which currently has about 200 tents.
