In May, Boris Grebenshchikov will speak in New York
In May, Boris Grebenshchikov, the leader of the Aquarium team and one of the founding fathers of Russian rock, will visit New York with a solo concert. The concert will be held on 19 in May at eight in the evening, and the Webster Hall club in the East Village, Manhattan will be the venue for it.
Ticket prices start at 75 dollars for members of the group created by ZZgor, the organizers of the concert, on Facebook. For the VIP-zone will have to pay 175 dollars.
According to the event on the social network, more than five hundred people are already going to come to the Grebenshchikov concert.
Boris Grebenshchikov remains one of the most beloved Russian rock artists, and the group “Aquarium”, created in the Soviet underground in 1972, is a real survivor of the rock scene. Their songs with deep philosophical lyrics unite both fans of Russian rock with experience and young music lovers and intellectuals.
The musician adheres to anti-war views and condemns the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Last December, Grebenshchikov and “Aquarium” performed in Kiev. Grebenshchikov repeatedly stressed that his music brings peace, no matter where he plays it.
