Graffiti appeared in Los Angeles, with which only popular bloggers can take pictures
The ban outraged the locals, but it turned out to be part of the series’s promotion.
25 June in Los Angeles appeared graffiti for “verified infleusers” - only bloggers with more than 20 thousands of social media subscribers can be photographed around it. Local residents have criticized the authors for the controversial ban, and the picture turned out to be an advertisement for a series on modern trends.
Graffiti painted on Melrose Boulevard in West Hollywood - one of the tourist routes of Los Angeles. A tent with a round-the-clock guard was set up near it, which only allows those who have more 20 thousands of subscribers or who have a verified account on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook to the picture.
One of the first about the graffiti was told by the editor of the publication Vice, who went there thanks to a tick verification on Twitter. “I live in Los Angeles for a long time and have seen a lot of bad graffiti, but I have never seen it so intentionally terrible. I like it, ”he said.
Subscribers to the journalist also did not appreciate the efforts of the artist and the action itself.
The journalists figured out that the graffiti was a satirical advertisement for a new show about modern Like & Subscribe trends from the go90 streaming service. On the Twitter account of the series, they published television stories about graffiti and apologized to those who could not take a photo.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the author of a marketing gimmick shared that he wanted to laugh innocently at current Instagram bloggers who travel the world just for exclusive photos. “I am genuinely surprised that no one messed up his [drawing] last night,” he added.
27 Jun has already removed the tent with the guards, and anyone could take a picture near the graffiti.
Still there as of 12:30 am on the 27th, Qasim has left, tent is gone, and no vandalism… yet. I was actually looking forward to seeing someone tag it up but, I guess not. ¯_ (ツ) _ / ¯ pic.twitter.com/6qWri4h9Nc
