In Las Vegas at the Museum of gangsters will show an exhibition about corruption in FIFA
An exhibition on the corruption scandal at the International Football Federation will open at the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement Mob Museum in Las Vegas on September 1. This is the agency Associated Press.
The exhibition will feature photographs, newspaper clippings and journalistic investigative materials on corruption in the main governing body of world football.
According to the source, FIFA refused to give comments on the opening of the exhibition.
The largest scandal in the history of FIFA erupted in late May, when seven high-ranking officials of the organization were detained in Zurich on suspicion of corruption.
At the same time, it became known that the Swiss police opened a criminal case against a group of unidentified individuals involved in money laundering during the election of the host countries of World Cup 2010, World Cup 2018 and World Cup 2022.
FIFA President Joseph Blatter at the FIFA 29 congress in May was re-elected for another term, but four days later announced about resigning amid corruption scandals. The FIFA Executive Committee 20 July ruled that the election of a new president of the organization will be held 26 February next year.
