In Kyrgyzstan, it was forbidden to sell guns in schools
The Kyrgyz parliament adopted amendments to the law on weapons prohibiting the sale of civilian and service weapons, as well as ammunition to them in the territory of educational institutions.
The activities of gun shops were also banned in buildings where government offices are located.
According to the republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, there are currently 23 weapons stores in the country — 8 of them in Bishkek and the districts closest to it. Some of them are located in residential buildings.
In August, the 2013 of the year in Kyrgyzstan also entered into force the ban on carrying weapons while in a state of alcohol or drugs. Then the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic noted that every fifth crime in the country was committed with the help of a firearm while intoxicated.
