When mass shooting started in Kentucky High School, Bailey's mother panicked one of the students and started calling her on a cell phone, but to no avail. Later, Bailey called back her mother, it was the last thing she managed to do before she died.

“She called me and all I heard was screaming and chaos,” her mother, Secret Holt, said. “She couldn’t say anything, and I called her name over and over again, but she didn’t answer anymore.”

Bailey died on Tuesday, January 23, in Marshall County High School in Benton. In addition to her, 15-year-old Perston Cope died in the hospital.
At that time, an 16 man was injured at school, including the boy Bailey, who was wounded in the face, but he survived. The couple started dating six months ago.

After the mass execution of students, the buses took the survivors to another school, where their parents were waiting. Secret and Ash Holt waited for Bailey to descend from one of the buses. But that did not happen.

"Perfect Daughter"

Although Bailey was only 15 years old, the girl knew that she wanted to be a nurse and take delivery.
Yasen Holt remembered how he took his daughter to school on Tuesday and kissed her for the last time.

“She was perfect in every way,” Jacques Holt said. “She was an angel on earth.” She was a beautiful angel."
Holt's best friend, Joanna Davis, told CNN that she was "funny and super cool."
“Her smile was so contagious,” Davis said. - Everyone loved her. Nobody said anything bad about her because she was always positive.”

First trial of a suspect

The suspect, who is accused of two murders and 12 first-degree attack points, appeared in court for the first time after the tragedy on Thursday morning, January 26, Marshall County Assistant Counsel Jason Darnall said.

The authorities did not name the suspect because he is a minor.
