In California, near the school found a bomb. VIDEO
Officials say the explosive device found in a car parked near Inglewood Elementary School did not contain explosives, and the incident seems to have become a rally.
Residents of the 700 block of W. Beach Avenue had to be evacuated, as sappers from Sheffield County in Los Angeles tried to defuse a bomb found under a Nissan 2004 car parked near Highland Elementary School.
Around 21: 30 on Sunday, Inglewood police received a message from a woman who noticed wires hanging from the trunk of a car. These wires were connected to the package. The demining operation was carried out in two stages: in 4: 30 in the morning and in 6: 10 in the morning.
Initially, the sappers suggested that the suspicious device was with an explosive, but after detonation it was stated that “no explosives were found in the bomb”.
An incident is being investigated.
Anyone who has more information about the incident is asked to contact the Los Angeles County Department: (323) 881-7500.
