In Italy, baked the world's longest pizza

On Saturday, June 20, Italy set a new world record. In Milan, they baked the world's longest pizza.

This gigantic pizza was presented to the public at Expo-2015. Its length was 1595,45 meter. Chefs spent on cooking pizza 1,5 tons of mozzarella cheese, 1,5 tons of tomatoes and many liters of olive oil. They baked it in special modernized stoves.

Worked on the chefs huge 80 pizza. To measure it, I had to put in a row 800 tables.

This pizza was prepared in honor of the 126th anniversary of the invention of the Margherita.

Previously, the record belonged to a pizza from Spain, its length was 1141,5 meters.
