In Brooklyn, a child was beaten in Hasidic clothes

An 9-year-old boy dressed in Hassidic clothing fell victim to an unprovoked attack in Brooklyn - the child was beaten.

The incident occurred on November 25 near 18: 00, when the boy walked home to Williamsburg, writes NBC.

According to the police, a teenager unexpectedly approached the child and hit him several times in the face. During the attack, the attacker did not utter a word. The boy was examined at the scene by the doctors, he refused further medical care.

Moses Rodriguez, an employee of a nearby kosher grocery store, witnessed the attack.

“There were three or four children walking, they were walking in the opposite direction of the boy, and suddenly one of them ran back and just hit the Jewish boy in the face,” he said.

Rodriguez immediately went to the victim to check his condition.

“His nose was bleeding. I know this boy, he comes here all the time. It was very sad,” the man admitted.

The victim's cousin said that the baby is fine.

The staff at the grocery store said that the incident occurred a few weeks after the store threw eggs at Halloween. One parent living in the area said that the children are now afraid to go to the store themselves.

The attack is being investigated as a hate crime. The suspect, a teenager wearing a gray hoodie and white shoes, was part of a group of four or five people, Rodriguez said.

So far no one has been detained in this case Investigators are asking possible witnesses to contact them.
