The Immigration Service has determined who will not be given work visas

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) 19 July announced that the agency returned to the senders their application for an X-NUMX H-1B work visa for the 2018 fiscal year that were sent after reaching the limit on these visas, the press service of the organization said.

7 on April USCIS stated that the number of submitted applications for a work visa type H-1B on 2018 fiscal year exceeded the normestablished by Congress.

Therefore, applications sent between 3 and 7 of April were selected for processing through the random selection program.

On May 3, the processing of all applications that were included in the limit was completed, and the Service began to send back documents of those applicants who were not selected by the program for further processing after the limit was exceeded.

19 July this process was completed, so USCIS encourages everyone who applied for H-1B visa between 3 and 7 in April and until 31 July does not receive information about the refusal to process or start the process of preparing the visa, to contact the Office to clarify the information.

Visa type H-1B gives the right to enter the United States and permanently reside in the country. They are of different types: working, student, tourist - and are issued for a certain period, after which a person must leave the country. These visas are issued to qualified employees who have at least bachelor status and 12 years of experience.
