USCIS has created educational products to prepare for naturalization.

The US Citizenship and Immigration Service has developed new products to help educators, volunteers, and administrators of courses on preparing immigrants for the naturalization process.

USCIS has issued citizenship courses with a support system at every stage of the course.

Among the products: Education Standards and Foundation Skills (Guidelines for standards and content of courses on citizenship for adults), The Sample Citizenship Curriculum for An Adult Low Level Beginning ESL Level Course (Sample Citizenship Education Program for Adults with Low-Level ESL), and USCIS Civics Lesson Plans (USCIS Citizenship Lesson Plans).

These services cover the topics of requirements for starting the naturalization process, interviewing and the naturalization test.

These products are a tool for creating full-fledged citizenship training programs.

In particular, they can help:

• Develop a new comprehensive course and citizenship curriculum with courses, curricula, lesson plans and activities.
• Update or improve the existing course and curriculum on naturalization.
• Prepare practical exercises for students to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary in the naturalization process.
• Develop an individual course for students.
