Apple's smartwatch presented to the public
Apple CEO Tim Cook, speaking at an event in San Francisco, presented the Apple Watch “smart watch” live on television and online and demonstrated its capabilities, including monitoring the owner’s health.
Cook said that soon the cars of all leading manufacturers will be equipped with an interactive CarPlay interface.
He announced a reduction in the cost of the Apple TV television service from 99 to 69 dollars, as well as a deal with HBO on the launch of a joint video streaming service, which package will cost 14,99 dollars per month.
HBO streaming on Apple devices will begin on April 12, the same day the new season of Game of Thrones premieres.
According to Cook, the ApplePay payment system has become available in 2 500 banks and 700 thousand offices in the United States.
Apple also introduced a new compact and silent MacBook computer.
