Russian media have become less likely to mention Ukraine and the United States in a hostile context and switched to Turkey. This is stated in the results of the research of the company Medialogia.

Ukraine has been the leader in the number of negative reports in the Russian media for nine months. In a hostile context, it was mentioned one and a half times more often than the United States.

Negatives in relation to the Ukrainian leadership began to decline after the election of the President of the country in 2014 year. By the end of 2015, the Russian media no longer called the Ukrainian authorities “illegitimate” and “self-proclaimed”. In addition, the word “fascists”, which was previously used in relation to Ukrainians, has almost disappeared from the messages.
