'We have huge military capabilities': Trump believes Biden took too weak a position on Ukraine

In a new interview with Fox Business, Trump criticized Biden for his weak stance on the war in Ukraine.

“The cards are played, the cards are dealt, and he has a very bad hand,” Trump said in an interview with Fox Business. “He dealt himself a very weak hand.”

Trump has repeated his mantra that Russian leader Vladimir Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if Trump was in the White House without backing up this claim.

“This would never have happened if I was still there,” Trump said. “I can tell you this with 100% certainty.”

Trump was repeatedly asked by host Stuart Varney if he supported specific moves, such as giving Ukraine more fighter jets.

“More than supportive, to be honest,” Trump said before changing the subject.

“We have enormous military capabilities. There's a lot we could do,” Trump said, without coming close to an answer. “We must use our potential to help them survive.”

Trump also bragged about sending Javelin anti-tank weapons to Ukraine, although he admitted that "I didn't know at the time" why the US was doing this. He did not mention that the Biden administration has spent billions of dollars on military equipment to help Ukraine.

Trump declined to say what he would do, which Biden did not, other than try to lower the price of oil in some way.

“You need three things for war: money, money and more money,” Trump said. “If you bring the price of oil down to hell... this war will end.”

Trump refrained from his previous praise of Putin as a "very savvy" leader after he launched a brutal invasion. Instead, he suggested that Biden do something more to confront the Russian leader.

“When he comes and kills thousands, will we just sit and watch? - Trump asked. “In a hundred years they will say that this is some kind of mockery.”
